Get To Know The Team Behind Spruce And Heron

We're Margaret and Frank - the team behind Spruce and Heron. 

Simply put, we love the outdoors. 

When we started dating, hikes and exploring natural areas were our go-to date ideas. 

When we got engaged, it was at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, right by the lake. 

We now hike as a family, exploring trails near and far, getting inspiration for what we create for the store. 

About Margaret

Margaret has always found equilibrium in the outdoors. She spent over 18 years in the busy PR agency world, before switching gears and working freelance. She's also a blog and business coach, teaching others to grow their online businesses. 

She brings her creative design, online marketing and social media skills to the table.

About Frank

Frank is a true outdoor adventurer! He stays grounded by walking barefoot on a beach or natural limestone. He finds balance in natural places that are an escape from the digital life. 

Coming from a marketing and sales world, Frank is no stranger to the need for a positive work-life balance. For Spruce and Heron, he brings his strong sales background, as well as creativity and design skills to daily activities.

We know there are many who've fallen in love with the sense of freedom, balance and peace nature brings to people. We want to bring some of that into their homes, cottages and cabins, and their everyday life. 

We love to create beautiful things that remind us of our favourite places, give us a sense of peace and balance. That's why we're nature inspired. We want to share that with you!
